In California the going rate is 6 – 10 dollars per hour.
Field work is different, they get paid by weight.The more you pick the more you earn.
Rich people are always concerened that their money is gonna run out. If you have no money, there will be no time to running out you know. Now in Nappa valley, all rich people are like that.

Oh my god! Where do you people get your information!?? I live 15 minutes away from Napa valley in sonoma co. The vinyard workers get paid by the pound and thats just harvest. Theres all kinds of vinyard work year round and most of them get at LEAST 8-10 dollars an hour. The guy who works for my parents gets 15 an hour. And by the way,…… unemployed americans wont do that kind of work, your right.
You defined it already. They are rich. How did they become that way? By hoarding money most likely. And what is an easy way to make more money? To pay your employees less. Since illegal immigrants are willing to work in horrible conditions for little pay (because it is often better than what they came from) it is easy for many people to take advantage of that.
They are going to have it coming to them.
You cannot be blessed and then turn around and be an economic curse to your fellow human being!
